The inflatable rubber dam is a flexible water retaining movable dam with air as filling medium. There are two types of inflatable rubber dams, i.e. bookend type and spoiler type. Differentiation from water-filled rubber dams:
Air is used as filling medium, which is environmentally friendly, easy to take and discharge, and cost-free for operation.
The inflatable rubber dam filling and dropping time is generally 30-50 minutes, the inflatable rubber dam filling speed is fast and collapse time of inflatable rubber dam is short. Also, it's self-control capacity and the operation management are high and simple.
The design and production are carried out according to international standards. The design safety factor is 8.5, the design service life is 25-30 years, and the thickness of the inflatable rubber dam is 1.5-2 times than the water-filled rubber dam. Its service life is 10 years higher than water-filled rubber dam, and also its operation is safer as well.
