General information about rubber lined pulleys
Rubber lined pulley is made of a metal roll covered with rubber. The rubber cover can bear certain pressure because of micro elastic deformation is a feature of the rubber layer, this can meet process requirements without causing excessive shearing stress to which can damage the product. With such properties as resistance to acid, alkali and rust, rubber lined pulleys are widely used in industries like papermaking, printing, metallurgy, synthetic fibers, light industry and textile industry, plastics, tanning, mining machinery, hoisting and transportation.
Structure of rubber lined pulleys
1. Rubber cover: Type, hardness and color of rubber can be selected respectively as per different industries of application.
2. Bonding layer: It bonds the rubber and metal roll firmly.
3. Metal roll: Choose different material based on industry and customer requirements.
The design and manufacture of rubber lined pulleys are with low bending stress, that means the pulley will not bend during load running; the bearings of all pulleys adopt self-positioning double-seal ball bearings, and simultaneously the sealing effects are fully taken into account, the mother liquid is not allowed to enter the bearing body. The structure that the bearing body is placed externally and fixed on the framework is not recommended.
