Main points and differences of rubber reinforcing agent and filler

Leave a message

Whether polymer such as rubber can effectively wet the surface of reinforcing agent is a prerequisite for reinforcing agent to play a reinforcing role. Whether the reinforcing agent can be wetted or not depends on the properties of the active groups on the surface. Only when the surface active group of the reinforcing agent is lipophilic can it be wetted by polymers such as rubber. Similarly, when the surface active groups of polymers are hydrophilic, it is impossible for hydrocarbon and ester polymers to be really wetted. Even if macroscopically they can be mixed into one, the micro-contact interface is also separated.
